Mariatheresa Lancey, ELA Intervention Teacher	Years in Public Ed. 31 Years Bachelors of Arts, California State University Dominguez Hills, Liberal Studies and CA State Teaching Credential Mrs. Lancey's educational journey commenced at Gulf Avenue Elementary School, where she attended from Kindergarten through 6th grade. Subsequently, she returned to Gulf, initially serving as a Teacher's Assistant before embarking on her teaching vocation in 1993. Throughout her extensive tenure, Mrs. Lancey has taught various grade levels, including Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. Presently, she serves as the English Language Arts Intervention teacher. He then moved to Meyler Street Elementary School where he taught in grades 1st through 5th for over 18 years. Mr. Goerrissen has served the students and families at Gulf Avenue STEAM School and Magnet Center since 2000. He spent 20 years as a classroom teacher, mainly in fourth and fifth grade.
